How it started

Hands Anointed 4 U (HA4U) was birthed out of an identified need in the community by Tamika Collins.Her leadership in providing care, food, coaching, and clothes to a people who would otherwise be in a compromising life conditions has brought comfort and exposure of unmet needs in the community of individuals, families, and especially youth who fall through the cracks of services or are under-identified due to the availability of resources needed at the time of identification.

Purpose/Mission

At Hands Anointed 4 U, our mission is to provide single parents with the opportunity to reach their greatest potential and maintain a healthy and sustainable life. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to empowering single parents by offering various support services and resources tailored to their unique needs. Through our programs, we aim to assist single parents in overcoming challenges, fostering personal growth, and achieving their goals. By promoting self-sufficiency and providing a nurturing environment, we believe that single parents can create a brighter future for themselves and their children. Our mission drives our commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of single parents, helping them thrive and build a better future.

Services Offered

Our workshops cover crucial topics like parenting, job seeking, career building, finances, budgeting, etc. By providing these resources, we empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Additionally, we offer affordable childcare, enabling parents to fully focus on their personal and professional growth. Tamika Collins

Tamika Collins is a licensed minister, a cerified life coach, and purpose driven women of God. She is a pillar of her Middle Tenneessee community and dedicated to encouarging and inspiring those around her. As a New Orleans native and single mother of two, Tamika recoginzes the importance of having a village of support. Inspired by her daughters, Tamika founded Hands Anointed 4 U with a focus on early childhood development and providing valuable resources to single parents in her community. Tamika's patience and compassion make her a nurturer by nature. She has a gift for helping people find their purpose and strives to have impactful interactions with everyone she enounters. As a licensed hairstylist and entrepreneur at heart, Tamika's long term goal is to expand her portfolio by creating multiple small businesses within her community. She aspires to become a bestselling author and to keep her promise to God to keep going until her destiny is fulfilled.

  • Candice Williams

    Candice Williams is a Christ Follower and Hospitality Connoisseur. She has been in Hospitality for over 20 years. Candice is currently the Associate Director of Sales at the luxurious Grand Hyatt Nashville where she establishes relationships daily within the community as well as internationally. Candice is considered the “Mom” and the “Optimist” at her place of employment. You can count on her doors always being open to nurture anyone who steps foot into her office, to provide Godly advice and to declare favor into individual’s lives. She also participates in community service involvements all over middle Tennessee with organizations she is attached to as well as individually. Serving the less fortunate is her soft spot. Her passion for hospitality extends further than hotel hospitality. Candice recently started up her business in catering and event planning accompanied by additional pillars to follow. Candice is a mother of a set of beautiful twin girls, Maya and Maycee. She is cultivating them to be young entrepreneurs and creatives. Candice and her family are members of FBC Murfreesboro where she serves on the Hospitality Committee as well as the Youth Ministry teaching 5th—8thgrade Sunday School. Candice lives each day walking in the steps of a Proverbs 31 Woman, virtuous, strong and selfless.

  • Rosie Bingham

    Rosie Bingham is an enthusiastic, creative, and passionate educator, mentor and advisor, who believes an exemplar instructional leader models the necessity of life-long learning and a commitment to students, parent, and community. She possesses the knowledge and skills needed to ensure high levels of learning which will lay the foundation for success at the next level. Rosie prides herself on being of service to others as a teacher and as a servant. She believes that all of us have been given a gift and should pray to learn for the acknowledgment of the gift and use it to the will of God. She teaches finance at McGavock High School in Nashville, TN. It is essential that our kids feel they have a future. “I continue to nurture young minds on life as well as finance for such a time as this”. Believe that if you give the world your best, the world will give you its’s best.

  • Zaquita Smith

    ZaQuita Smith was born and raised in Memphis, TN.   She gave her life to Christ at the age of ten. She then joined Bethel Church of God in Christ at the age of fifteen under the leadership of the now, Bishop Dickerson L.S. Wells. It was there that she lived out most of her youth singing in the choir,  praise team, and serving in the community by feeding the hungry, singing and bringing joy inside nuslrsing homes, and so much more! She graduated high school in 2004 from White Station High School.  She decided to take a different venture by attending Middle Tennessee State University August of 2005. Her major was business administration.  Although her time has not been completed, she plans to continue her success in obtaining her degree really soon. God blessed her abundantly with four wonderful children. She is also the owner of Heavenly Hands by Z, LLC. She continues her passion in serving others and having a willingness to serve in the community at any capacity.

  • Alethia J. Faison

    Alethia J. Faison is a licensed minister, Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Life and Wellness Coach in the Nashville, TN area. Minister Faison has a passion for helping people heal after stressful or traumatic events in their lives, I truly believe that change is possible for everyone if empowered with the tools and strategies needed to actualize it in their own lives.

    A native of Franklin, Virginia, Alethia was educated in the Southampton County public school system. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (with a concentration in Sociology) from Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia, and a Master of Arts in Religion (with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling) from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (concentration in Play Therapy) from Lipscomb University, Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, Alethia holds a temporary license in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is currently pursuing a D.M.F.T, Doctorate in Marriage, and Family Therapy from North Central University.

    Alethia has three children John, Jr. 23, Ajah Jeanette, 21 and Jaden Reshard, 18

    Alethia J. Faison is the founder/owner/CEO of Truth Therapy, Inc. a private therapy practice located in Nashville Tennessee, where “Truth Makes Change Possible!”
